today i took a solo walk on the beach a trash bag in hand, a great playlist in my ears it was absolutely beautiful the wind moved softly the air was warm, sweet with spring’s first blooms the sun on my face felt like something i’ve been waiting for this winter was especially harsh here on Long Island and i’ve been dreaming of days like this if you saw me out there, fully in it, and rolled your eyes… that says more about you than it does about me because this— this is what it looks like to be present to let life be good without asking permission no audience no explanation just living it as it is you deserve that but you have to let yourself have it 🤍
